Ruth Baza

Ruth Baza is from Madrid, a writer, photographer and journalist since she was 17. From personality portraits, spontaneous behind-the-scenes shots, of famous and anonymous people, both ordinary and extraordinary places, and a good collection of concert photos, her gaze and footprint is multifaceted. Her music portraits are famous for being extremely personal and emotional. This is not very common in the live music genre. She often took vibrant and electric photos of concerts, and her gallery is mainly full of close-ups that are very intimate, even shocking, because she believes that music can be felt with other senses than the ear. So she always tried to make viewers feel when looking at her photos, same as she does with her writings, not only the echoes of the music or the voice of the artists, but the very essence of the artists on stage. The humanity of artists in the heat of live creation.
